Sofia receives All India Young achievers award in mumbai for performing arts may 2011

Sofia was awarded the much coveted award which has been running into its 16th year. She was honoured with other big names from Bollywood.


Sofia does an international Bikini Shoot in Mumbai!

Sofia created a storm when she gave a photoshoot to the Indian Press to promote her new film. She had returned to the UK and lost 7lbs and worked out at the gym to show off her new body. Dubbed "The Body of India", Sofia has just signed ger second Bollywood film.
The film will be announced in 2 weeks.

Sofia is currently in Mumbai shooting her new film. Feb/March 2011

Sofia is shooting for her new film in Mumbai and is set to return by th end of March. She has also been doing major promotion for the Cricket World cup in India. In March and April Sofia will appear on the covers of 3 major Indian Magazines.


Sofia will be flying out to India in November to shoot her first Lead Role in a Bollywood Film!

Sofia performed at The Hilton Waldorf in London for the Victims of The Pakistani Floods

Sofia is Ms Nasty on "The Zing Thing", Zing Sky channel 789
Asian version of "Britains Got Talent" - Airs: 24th April 7-730pm, repeat 26th April 12pm

"The Zing Thing", is a new show on Zing sky channel 789, (formerley Zee Music TV). Sofia will be appearing as a judge, to give one hopeful the chance of winning a part in a film starring Amanda Holden. There will be some great performers, but also some really funny ones! Watch out for the English guy singing a hindi song!

Sofia Entertains The Ghurkas 26th March 2010

Sofia has entertained the Ghurkas for the third year running, and has said of this trip, "I absolutely love performing for these men, I am humbled by them. They have just come out of Afghanistan, yet they still have smiles on their faces and really enjoyed the shows. I hope the government treat them with more respect than they have been doing".

Sofia gave the Ghurkas a real treat when she performed songs from her not yet released album, "Dishonour", released later this year. The album is a musical documentary of her life, as has been published in her autobiography of a similar name, "Dishonoured".


Sofia Writes for Asian Woman Magazine - January/March 2010

Sofia stars at a hard hitting, gangsters wife, appearing opposite Ameet Chana (Bend it like Beckham, Run Fat Boy Run).

Sofia appears in "Waterloo Road"

Sofia appears in "Waterloo Road",as immigration officer, "Jones", starring alongside Neil Morrissey.
Sofia appears in MTV's BAFTA award winning series, "Fur TV"

Sofia appears in MTV's BAFTA award winning series, "Fur TV", as Latin Bombshell, Lucia. The show is scheduled for release in march and aired world wide (2008).

"Cash and Curry", wins BEST FEATURE FILM, at the Portobello film Festival in London.

Sofia plays one of 3 the wives of an Asian Gangster. This was Sofia's first action film. "I really enjoyed kicking men's butts in this film, and wearing a catsuit in the english country side, was not as glamorous as it looked, and really cold"! (2008).

Sofia entertains the Ghurkas for 2 weeks in April

Last year Sofia was asked to entertain the troops after they returned from Afghanistan and iraq. She performed a 45min live PA, singing songs that she had written from the album, "Brit Asian", as well as the classic Hindi song, "Kabhi Kabhi". The show went down so well they have asked her to come back this year. Sofia is the first ever hindi performer to perform for the ghurkas, and indeed the first ever "Ghurka Sweetheart", in over 100 years. "It's a great honour to perform for such brave and Loyal men. I feel humble in their presence".

Sofia is currently working with a production company, on her feature film. Currently casting for the film. The film is based on a part of Sofia's life. She has writen it, but will also produce the film in 2010
